The uncommonly good people at Uncommon Goods gifted me with a Postcarden to try out, and another one to give away along with a $50 gift certificate! Yup, you read that right FIFTY DOLLARS in free shtuff to one lucky winner.
First, let me tell you about my Postcarden, one of the many paper gifts
you can choose. It came flat packed in a little box. The building required a tiny bit of assembly, and I do mean tiny. I used glue runner but you could use tape or regular glue. The building is printed on heavy, glossy, cardstock which proved resistant to my somewhat sloppy waterings.
Inside, there is a plastic tray with absorbent material. All you do is wet the absorbent pad, sprinkle the seeds inside the tray and set the whole thing in a sunny window.
Mine started sprouting the next day and one week later it looks exactly like the advertisement. See?
The sprouts are cress. If you've never tried cress, it tastes like a spicy radish.
What a fun little gift. You can put a stamp right on the box and mail it as is (Uncommon Goods estimates U.S. postage at $1.30).
Now, the part you've been waiting for! Enter to win a $50 gift certificate to Uncommon Goods. (U.S. residents only). Maybe you'll want to get one of the items featured below, which are some of my personal favorites, or a handmade paper gift, or a wedding or graduation present? Be sure to mention in your comment what you would choose if you won!

Hope I win so I can use the prize to get more Postgardens.
-I just price compared and Uncommon goods is the best price on the Internet and best price for shipping. They even let you pick how you want them shipped.
-I just ordered 2 as I could not wait. If I win, I will fall down - I never win anything.
-I forgot to leave my e-mail in the first comment I sent & I think that was a requirement to enter.

Wow, there are a lot of neat things. I love the tripod for cameras and and the card gardens are really great. Those are 2 of the things I would buy, but I sure found a lot of great things for gifts.
Maybe the smencils (if I knew what they were!) or the state towels. That Postcarden is kind of fun!
