Download PDF and use as a pattern to cut out pieces. Score and crease all pieces as indicated by green lines.
Glue whites to black eye background.
Pop each beak half of the red piece forward by pushing with your finger from the back and creasing on the score lines. Review how to make a v fold if you don't know how to do this.
Line up and glue yellow beak parts to the red beaks.
Glue beige chest piece under beak.
Glue eyes to red piece, matching center folds, above the diagonal crease lines of the beak.
Glue red piece to large black piece, lining up center creases.
Position tail piece sticking out on the left hand side of the bird and glue.
Make a base card. I used an 8.5" x 6.5" piece of light blue card stock, folded in half. Referring to finished card, cut dark blue stripes and glue on. Cut grass pieces freehand and glue on as desired.
Glue bird into card, lining up center folds.

This will be so fun to make for my son :) Thanks so much for sharing!
As I look at the bird I see an Easter chick in the making. I think I may find time to play with your file. Thanks! I'll come back if I get it to work.

Carol - I love your creations. Thanks you so much for sharing them. I wanted to let you know I just posted a card I made with one of your cake files. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it too!
Oops - here is my blog post url: http://scrappycath.blogspot.com/2011/05/got-cake.html
I love Angry Birds! I was so excited to print it out when I noticed it is printing the watermark. Is there a way to get this off or am I missing something? Thanks so much for posting this, I can't wait to make the card!
Janel, I intended it to be used as a pattern to cut from your own paper, not as a print and cut :). I only colored them in so you'd know what color paper to choose.

Thanks for responding so quickly Carol! Silly me, I didn't even think of doing that. I ended up creating a cutting file on SCAL, a lot of tweaking, but it looks so awesome! My friend is just going to love it. Thanks so much for putting together the card!
Hi Carol - Love this idea!!! We have a friend who loves that game! One day I will have to make him this card. Thanks for sharing :)
What a great idea! I made this for my husband for his birthday. He loves the game so I know he'll love this. Thanks for the tutorial and pdf :)
Thanks so much for the tutorial! I just made several of these for my son's birthday invites.
Brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing. x
Hey, I really like this card thank you so much for posting it. I was thinking it would be even more awesome if you put a recording module inside the beak, and have it play the angry bird noise when you open the card. Or use a blank recordable greeting card and strategically place the beak over the little holes where the sound would come out. Love this card!
Fabulous card! Thank you for being so generous with sharing your creation, tutorial and PDF. Very much appreciated. Going to make this up for my grandsons. I know they will love it!
Can't thank you enough for always taking the time to do tutorials for us and generously sharing your files. Made this for my son in law and he loved it. Thank you so much!
