Leprechaun House Pop Up Card

I was hoping to have the tutorial for this St. Patrick's Day card up today, but it isn't happening. I've been working practically non-stop on this card since yesterday morning. Every step took longer than I expected!

So, today, you get to see pictures. Tomorrow (maybe?) the tutorial.

The house pop up folds down the center. I cut the door out so that it would swing free, and unfolded, as the card front folds. The leprechaun is attached to the front of the house with a simple box. He folds to the side when the card closes. The rainbow is attached through the center of the roof with an unbend paper clip. It swings back and forth when the card is open.

Extreme Cards and Papercrafting: pop up cards, movable and mechanical cards, digital crafts and unusual papercrafts.

It is wonderful and clever. We had a full rainbow over my workshop this afternoon. Too bad there was no pot of gold to be found.

OMG! This is awesome, love it and can't wait for a tutorial. My Mother is full blooded Irish and loves these things, would be good to put by her bed so she can see it.

Very creative. I'm curious to see how you got the rainbow to fold!

Rich, I made an L shape from a paperclip. One leg of the L is taped into the roof fold. The other leg sticks straight up through the roof and is affixed to the midline of the rainbow with a paper strip. (If you pulled UP on the rainbow it would probably slide off.) So it swings around like a weather vane!

This is amazing. If I had more time, I'd actually try to make it, but I just found it today. :) I am so impressed by your talent!
