I liked the Ramin Razani inspired heart spinner so much I decided to try a pumpkin.
Download file set: DXF, PDF, GSD, Silhouette Studio.
Cut out the pattern. I turned off the score line and hand scored it. There is such a small bit of paper along the center line and I didn't want to weaken it by cutting perforations in it.
Score the center line above and below the center pumpkin. Do not score through the center pumpkin.
Turn the center pumpkin to one side, flipping it 180° and creasing at the center fold line. Working out from the center, continue to flip each round 180°, all to the same side. As you work, the piece you did before will turn around, too. It will seem like they're winding up around the center fold. That's a good thing!
When all the rounds are folded, tweak them back and forth until you like how the splay out.
