I'm hibernating right now, working on Christmas cards. I did make another card this week, however.
I created the ticket in good old CorelDraw.
The pattern for the origamic architecture roller coaster is from Hilltop Studios.
Inside it's going to say, "Thanks for a wild ride!"
I changed it a little to add two more people to the coaster car. Ooo, a few whiskers of paper left in the corners.

Amazing! How long does it take you to create a card?
Seriously, it takes hours. This one was a little quicker because I had a template. HOWEVER, I redrew the whole thing so I could cut it with the CraftRobo. That took, oh, maybe an hour or so. Then about half an hour to coax all the little steps forward and to glue it up.
I spend a LOT of time playing with paper.
LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

Carol, I love everything you do! I just wanted to thank you for sharing all your Xmas cards on the other post...it was so cool to see how your art evolved, and watching your kids grow up! I had to laugh when I saw the Shop N Bag (although I thought it was Shopping Bag!) bill - I remember the one where my SIL lived - best cakes EVER. I knew you had to be from PA when I saw that, AND the Herr's chips on the grocery recpt! My DH is from Upper Darby, his sis from Aston. We went to the Herr's factory one year to see their Xmas decorations...beautiful! Can't wait to see what 2009 holds on your blog! :)
